The Malsch Impulse XL KL bariatric clinical bed meets highest requirements of stability, comfort and functionality with a safe working load of 300 kg and the functional range of the Impulse KL series.

The Impulse XL KL model also features outstanding handling characteristics thanks to the 150 mm double castors, which are also equipped with a fixed direction and central brake and guarantee the safe transport of occupants. The mobilising side rail system is manufactured completely from anodised aluminium. This creates additional stability during use by heavy occupants, particularly as a mobilisation aid. With a safe working load of 300 kg and the functional range of the Impulse series, the model meeds the highest requirements of stability, comfort and functionality.

Reclining surface

The Impulse XL KL bariatric clinical bed features a metal lattice reclining surface, reinforced specifically for the heavy load.
This bariatric model is also equipped with the proven four-part reclining surface with back rest adjustment as recommended by the German Nurses Association (DBfK), and increases patient comfort. Additionally, the comfort seating position for back rest and leg section allows the patient to be raised upwards gently to a position ideal for optimum caregiving or watching television.

Comfort sitting position

The comfort sitting position ensures that the patient can sit upright comfortably, and it is ideal for watching television, care activities or communicating. Spatial orientation is improved, and breathing and circulation are influenced positively.

The intelligent alignment process with back rest adjustment prevents the patient from coming into contact with the headboard and simultaneously relieves pressure on the buttocks.
